About the company:

Quallium Corporation’s Energy division is committed to bringing alternative power to the mainstream. We are  headquartered in Ottawa, Canada’s national capital. The company is set-up for long-term viability to ensure that strong recognition and trust are built up with our customers. Our commitment is to provide the necessary service, support, and knowledge that instills a high level of confidence in our drive for quality. It is very important to us that our customers have an extremely positive experience with their choice for using  alternative energy. We believe that word of mouth referrals are the best testimony to the success of our committment.

Mission:

To provide our clients with high quality renewable energy solutions by focusing on our professional expertise  and brand-name, proven products.

Services provided:

Our staff are experts in their respective fields and have completed numerous renewable energy courses and  training programs. Be sure and ask us about our new Quallium Renewable Energy Services Team (QUEST), specializing in installations for the Ontario MicroFIT program.

Our years of experience and our
code of conduct combine to give our MicroFIT installations the assurance of quality expected by home and business owners.

QUEST is a turnkey, total solutions program designed to help homeowners, farmers, small business owners and organizations (churches, community centres, etc) take full advantage of the Ontario microFIT Program. MicroFIT is part of one of the most ambitious renewable energy generation programs in North America. If you aren’t aware of it already go to http://microfit.powerauthority.on.ca/ and read up. You will see that the OPA will payanyone who sets up one of these micro systems (10 kw or less) on their property and puts the electricity it generates back into the grid - a guaranteed price for at least 20 years . Biogas, biomass, landfill gas, solar PV, waterpower and wind generation sources all qualify for this Program but by far the best payback comes from solar PV (roof or ground install) which pays 80.2 cents per kwh. A typical customer currently pays Hydro One 13.5 cents per kwh on their monthly bill. That’s an awfully nice spread.

There is a very good Return On Investment for those who install these Solar PV panel systems. We have developed an excellent Financial ROI Calculator that shows, even with having to finance the cost of installation, that there is a large profit to be made over the 20 year term.

The OPA also has the FIT Program for larger installations – more than 10 kw. Visit www.fit.powerauthority.on.ca for more info on that. Quallium will be involved in building some of these larger systems as well but for now the focus is on meeting the explosion of demand for microFIT qualifying projects.

We will be rolling the QUEST Program out across Ontario after some initial test market installs and fine tuning is done here in the Ottawa area. We already have representatives in place in the GTA and Collingwood laying ground work for when QUEST is ready to expand into those regions. Quallium is well positioned to become one of the larger players in microFIT-qualifying renewable energy system installations in Ontario.

Our QUEST team (Sales Representative, Project Manager, qualified Installer Group) works with the client throughout the entire process of installing a microFIT qualifying system. We meet with them first to determine their needs, match it to the right size for their site, source the right equipment, provide an estimate, give advice on financing/leasing, help fill in the microFit application approval and deal with all the permit and inspection process, oversee the installation, work with Hydro and the local authorities for the hook-up, ensure the project stays on budget, review operating procedures with the client once the system is installed and provide on-going support to  (maintenance, upgrades, warranty, information on new renewable energy products as they come on the market, etc) after the installation. It’s a one-stop, turnkey total solution package. And the great thing is that when you install one of these renewable energy generating systems you are doing the right thing for the planet!

 Please note that Quallium is lookingfor good quality builders, architects/designers, engineers, renovators, contractors, electricians, roofers and plumbers who want to be part of the QUEST Qualified Installer Teamfor microFIT projects across Ontario. With this program just hitting there is about to be an explosion in demand for the installation of renewable energy systems throughout the province. We need a BIG Team to help meet this demand. If you know of anyone who fits this criteria and might be interested please contact us.

We can demonstrate the total costs involved and describe ease of use with alternative energy that include:

  • Initial costs of purchase, maintenance and upgrades;
  • Impact on monthly energy consumption (electricity, gas and/or heating oil costs);
  • Municipal regulations (ie building codes);
  • Environmental impacts; and
  • installation requirements.

In addition, we can provide information on the type of system best suited to your needs. This includes an explanation of each component and how it optimizes performance. We aim to answer all questions to the customer’s level of satisfaction.

Please look through our web site to determine the  solution that best fits your needs and/or contact our  staff who will be pleased to assist you.
